The story
Amistà is a contemporary Italian restaurant at via Cedrare 78 in Corrubbio, just outside Verona, and it holds one Michelin Star (2026). It occupies the Byblos Art Hotel Villa Amistà, a historic five-star villa in Valpolicella.
Executive Chef Donato De Leonardis cooks from biodiversity, seasonality and carefully chosen local ingredients. His menus weave together the traditions of Veneto and Basilicata. Gambero Rosso awarded the kitchen two forks in 2022.
Dinner is built around three tasting menus. Between stone and vine is priced at €160, Beyond Boundaries, with its sea and mountain courses, at €180, and one menu is entirely vegan. Wine pairings run from €60 to €100 per person. The menu is served to the whole table, though any course can be ordered à la carte at €40.
Beef tartare arrives with Lessinia blue cheese, tomato bread crumb and pine nuts. Carnaroli rice is paired with snails, wild garlic and Monte Veronese cheese. Elsewhere you find Monte Baldo lamb with spring onion and parsnip, and a lobster tortello with strawberry, basil and buffalo ricotta. Dessert might be Recioto with mascarpone and coffee.
The restaurant shares the villa's colourful, dreamlike character, where antique and contemporary pieces sit side by side and art sets the tone. Outdoor seating and parking are available.
