The story
Mirabelle, at via di Porta Pinciana 14 in Rome, is an Italian contemporary restaurant that earned a Michelin Recommended listing in 2026. The restaurant serves Classic Cuisine and Italian Contemporary dishes in the centre of the city, a short walk from Via Veneto.
Chef Stefano Marzetti leads a brigade that cooks a fresh, contemporary menu with full, clear flavours. The kitchen buys certified cuts of meat, fish from Italian seas, and cured meats, cheeses, fruit and vegetables from local and national producers. Plating receives the same care as the cooking itself.
The restaurant sits on the seventh floor of the Hotel Splendide Royal, with a roof terrace that looks out from Villa Medici and Trinità dei Monti towards St Peter's and the Janiculum. Inside, antique furniture, period porcelain and fine crystal set a formal tone. Live music in the evenings suits couples. The Green Guide awards the restaurant one Radish.
