The story
Lazzaro 1915 at via Roma 351 in Pontelongo serves modern Italian cooking in Piove di Sacco-Piovega and earned one Michelin star in 2026. The restaurant takes its name from Lazzaro Siviero, who ran the family trattoria on this site.
Piergiorgio Siviero, co-owner and chef, trained in Switzerland, Milan and Paris, where he worked under Alain Ducasse. He returned to Pontelongo in 2005 and cooks alongside his aunt Dilva, blending tradition with a touch of creativity. His Italian kitchen keeps the family's long-standing recipes at the center.
The menu opens with Chioggia scallops under coral mayonnaise and marrow gratin, followed by spaghettone Fracasso with cuttlefish and its liver alla veneziana. Horse fillet alla Bismarck with banana in bagna caoda appears among the mains. The dessert list includes a millefoglie with green coffee, cardamom and miso caramel.
