The story
Da Gigetto serves modern cuisine at via A. De Gasperi, 5 in Miane, in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco hills, and holds 2 forks from Gambero Rosso (2022). The family-run restaurant grew out of a historic inn and keeps a seasonal menu rooted in local tradition.
The menu follows the seasons and draws on the best produce available. Dishes are built on technique but stripped back to their essentials, a modern Italian approach that still honors regional memory. Marco is the chef, and the Michelin Guide lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026.
Luigi Bortolini, known as "Gigetto," inherited the old Locanda con stallo alla Stella from his grandmother, a place of hospitality since the early 1900s. The dining rooms were renovated and modelled on the original home. Each one is different, and each is decorated to feel homely. Just steps away, the Giardino "Al Brolo" offers a countryside setting.
Below the restaurant, the cellar wraps around an 18-metre-deep well and a long access tunnel. Its niches and rooms hold about 1,600 labels, with a focus on local producers and a section devoted to Pinot Noir. Monica, the sommelier and Gigetto's daughter, helps guests choose pairings. The cellar is open for visits, whether for an aperitif or a toast after lunch or dinner.
