The story
Oltremare is a contemporary Campanian restaurant at via Diego Taiani 3 in Maiori, where Executive Chef Alfonso Crisci cooks. The Michelin Guide lists it as Recommended for 2026.
Crisci describes his cooking as innovative but tied to tradition. He studies the typical dishes of his region and reinterprets them. The restaurant says it works with seasonal, zero-kilometre produce and local recipes, so the Campanian kitchen here is a reworking of old dishes rather than a literal copy of them.
The menu is named after the fishing village of Cetara and opens with lightly matured anchovies, whey, and a blueberry and wild mentuccia vinaigrette. Squid cooked with ultrasound comes with red beet and dehydrated aubergine. Linguine with seven herbs arrive with red prawn garum. Quail is paired with an oyster reduction, and peach soup with holm oak seed ice cream closes the meal. The menu is 140 euros, with a wine pairing at 50, and it is prepared for a full table.
The dining room sits on the fifth floor of Hotel Club Due Torri, with a view over the Amalfi Coast. The design is modern and clean. The restaurant also carries 4 Radishes from the We're Smart Green Guide (2026).
