The story
Andreina, at Via Zona Industriale Brodolini, 2 in Loreto, holds one Michelin star in the 2026 guide. Its modern cuisine is built on live fire, a method the family has worked with since the restaurant opened in the Marche.
The restaurant dates to 1959, when its game and fire cooking grew from family and regional tradition. Chef Errico Recanati, grandson of the founders, now leads the kitchen. He cooks over embers and on the spit, and he extends that heat to ingredients beyond meat. The Michelin star first came in the 2013 guide.
Brace is the meat menu: spit-roasted squab, suckling pig and a selection of Etrusco beef, each served as a course at 30 euros. A separate sequence of twelve foie gras moments costs 50 euros. Fiamme is the tasting menu at 155 euros, suggested for the whole table. It opens with grilled oyster and roast tomato and later brings a game tortello with tenera ascolana and raspberry vinegar, then hare with watermelon. Matched wines come as three glasses for 45 euros or four for 60.
50 Top Italy ranked Andreina number 34 among its Grandi Ristoranti for 2026. The guide praised the cacio e i sette pepi and a grilled lettuce that carries woodsmoke. It also singled out precise, courteous service and a very large wine list.
