The story
La Coldana is a contemporary restaurant in Lodi, set in Cascina Coldana at via del Costino, 26900. The kitchen holds a Michelin star for high quality cooking, awarded in 2026, and its seasonal menu draws on Italian tradition.
Chef Alessandro Proietti Refrigeri arrived in Lodi with his brigade after years of work in Italy and abroad, including at Noma in Copenhagen. The kitchen works with regional ingredients and grows its own small herb garden, which the chef uses often. The à la carte list has included grilled quail with jus, friggitelli and apricot, and tagliatelle with butter, lemon, chives and freshwater bottarga.
The cascina was restored from the 1700s, and its dining space is split into five small rooms, each with its own lighting, for 30 covers. A tended garden lies beyond the building, surrounded by the green corridors of the plain. The wine list runs to more than 600 labels, and the adjoining wine bar Vi:te shares its shelf prices, with a fixed 12 € table service supplement.
