The story
Dalla Gioconda serves Italian cooking at Via dell'Orizzonte, 2, Gabicce Monte PU, in Gabicce Mare. The restaurant received a Michelin One Star in 2026, recognised for high quality cooking.
Davide Di Fabio runs the kitchen after sixteen years at Osteria Francescana. His method starts from memory: he deconstructs a dish, then rebuilds it in a new form while keeping the Italian taste. The risotto with lemon broth, roasted tomato water and cuttlefish ink balances acidity against deep marine flavours. His potato tortelli use potato in both the dough and the filling.
The site has stood on Monte San Bartolo since the 1950s, when it was a Riviera dance hall. Today the room uses pink Furlo stone, wood, brass and ceramic tables with hand-salted edges, and the view runs along the Adriatic coastline. The wine cellar holds more than 1,600 labels, curated by Nicholas Bratti, with rare vintages chosen to pair with the kitchen. The building holds LEED Gold certification.
