The story
Incàlmo is a contemporary restaurant at viale Rimembranze 1 in Este, and it received a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026. The name is a Venetian dialect word meaning graft, a nod to the idea that new ideas take root at the table and blend with past experience.
The menu follows a balanced, varied path built on a love for good food and respect for the raw ingredient. The restaurant organizes its offer into sections for the kitchen, the cellar and dessert. Gambero Rosso awarded the restaurant two forks in 2022.
The restaurant points guests to the Beatrice, a historic hotel in Este with original furnishings from the 1950s. Its hospitality is described as young and international.
