The story
Contrada Bricconi sits at Via Bricconi 3 in Oltressenda Alta, near Clusone, and serves modern cuisine built on country cooking from its own farm. The Michelin Guide awarded the restaurant one star in 2026 for high quality cooking.
Michele Lazzarini runs the kitchen. He previously worked at St. Hubertus under Norbert Niederkofler, and he chose to return to a place closer to home. The menu follows the farm's own output: cheese, cured meats and Grigia Alpina beef, paired with what local growers supply. Among the pastas, the pappardelle with helichrysum and the fusilli with blackberries show the creative streak of the cooking.
The restaurant occupies a fifteenth-century stone hamlet. Two intimate dining rooms sit on the ground floor, and a third upstairs has a small terrace overlooking the kitchen. Tables are laid without tablecloths, in a mountain and rural style. The tasting menu runs ten courses at 165 euro, drinks excluded, and on Thursdays and Sundays a six-course menu for guests under 30 costs 95 euro. The wine list focuses on Lombardy producers.
