The story
Piazzetta Milù, at corso Alcide De Gasperi 23 in Castellammare di Stabia, holds two Michelin stars in the 2026 guide, and its contemporary cuisine is built around a single tasting menu.
Maicol Izzo leads the kitchen, while his brothers Emanuele and Valerio run the wine cellar and the dining room. The kitchen is an open space where the team conceives, prepares and plates every dish, divided into stations by temperature and visible from the room. Izzo's earlier stages include time with Albert Adrià in Barcelona and a period in the team at NOMA in Copenhagen.
Guests choose one tasting menu, and the restaurant does not reveal dish names or the number of courses in advance. Six different menus are served each year, shaped by the season or a special moment. The summer menu on the restaurant's site is priced at €250 per person without drinks, with an optional sommelier pairing at €150. Guests with allergies or intolerances should note them when booking, since some menus are not suitable for vegans, vegetarians, or people avoiding gluten or lactose.
