The story
Al Tonno di Corsa is a seafood restaurant at via Marconi 47 in Carloforte, with a Michelin Recommended distinction for 2026. It has operated since 1980 in the old cassinee quarter, with tuna at the centre of the menu.
The name refers to tuna caught in the tonnare, and the kitchen works around fish landed in May and June. Antipasti include musciamme and bottarga, and first courses bring cascà and bobba, a fava soup flavoured with basil and marjoram.
Second courses use fish from local fishermen, such as red mullet, sea bream and lobster. The kitchen is visible from the dining room. ilGolosario lists smoked swordfish rolls and grilled tuna belly among its signature dishes.
