The story
Storie d'Amore serves modern cuisine at via Desman, 418 in Borgoricco, and holds one Michelin Star (2026) for high quality cooking.
The kitchen presents its dishes as degustazioni, a guided format that still leaves room to choose. Some menus are fixed, some are left to the chef, and some are picked by the guest. The five-course vegetarian menu is 110 €, six courses are 125 €, and the seven-course fish menu and the eight-course menu are 145 € each. Guests who want a lighter introduction can choose two dishes (85 €) or three (120 €). Gambero Rosso gave the restaurant two forks in 2022.
Davide started in professional kitchens at 14, while still at hotel school. He later worked for well-known chefs and in elite pastry shops. Pastry remains a particular love, and some of his creations appear in the cookbook "Dietro le quinte di una grande Passione", made with his mentor Chef Paolo Bodon. In 2008 he rejoined Massimo to open the restaurant.
Massimo trained as an AIS sommelier and looks for small producers whose wines are little known. Champagne is a favourite, and the list also covers Italian and foreign reds and whites, beers and spirits. Three wine tastings are offered separately: Sorridente (40 €), Divertente (60 €) and Felicità (90 €).
