The story
Cannavacciuolo Le Cattedrali in Asti serves Italian and Mediterranean cooking at Fraz Valleandona 1/b, Asti, and earned a Michelin star in 2026. The dining room sits inside the Le Cattedrali Relais, a five-star property in the hills of Langhe, Monferrato and Roero.
Chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo leads the kitchen, which runs a gastronomic route through the menu rather than a single plate. The Michelin star for 2026 is the clearest marker of the restaurant's standard.
The cellar holds more than 2,000 labels from Italy and abroad, and Wine Spectator recognised it with a Best of Award of Excellence in 2024. The lounge drink list ranges from Negroni variations to a Barbera d'Asti cocktail, and a French 75 made with Champagne Soutiran Premier Cru.
