The story
GÓRÉ is a modern Hungarian restaurant at Kossuth u. 13 in Kisharsány, listed under Siklós. It holds a Gault&Millau score of 14.5 for 2026.
The menu runs to five, seven or nine courses. One opener is a duck liver terrine layered like an Opera cake, with foie gras in two textures and slivers of plum jam. Charcoal-grilled golden pompano follows, served with black kale, mini kiwi and edamame. Robi Szalacsi, formerly sous-chef, took over as head chef in summer 2025.
The Hungarian kitchen is open to the dining room, and tables are set with bespoke plates and thin-stemmed glasses. Sommelier Richárd Labancz picks bottles from small regional producers. Non-alcoholic choices include house-made quince-and-plum juice with alcohol-free shiraz. Michelin lists GÓRÉ as Recommended for 2026.
