The story
Düne74 in Wolgast cooks North German food at An der Düne 1, 17449 Karlshagen, and the Schlemmer Atlas awarded it one Kochlöffel in 2026. The menu leans on regional produce, from fish caught by local fishers to seasonal ingredients gathered from the surrounding woods and meadows.
The fish arrives fresh from local fishers, and the kitchen builds much of the menu around it. The Schlemmer Atlas singles out salmon burgers and zander, with chocolate soufflé to finish. Menus change with the seasons, so the plates follow what the region produces at that point in the year.
The dining rooms are bright, and in warmer weather guests can eat outdoors under the pergola on the terrace. The café side offers homemade cakes and pastries. Cooks also work at a JOSPER grill, where dry aged meat appears from time to time rather than on every visit.
