The story
Restaurant Kurcafé Neumair, at In der Vogelweide 4 in Wolfertschwenden, is a traditional home-style cuisine restaurant that the Schlemmer Atlas awarded one Kochlöffel in 2026. The house also runs a café, catering service and hotel.
The menu changes with the seasons. The current seasonal card lists summer steaks and chanterelles, and game and fish dishes appear alongside them. The restaurant sits directly beside a small spa park, which suits a slow lunch or a long evening meal.
The kitchen occasionally hosts an 18-course menu that begins at 18:00 on selected Fridays. Reservations are required, and the menu costs 65 euros from 2026. The dates announced so far are Friday 2 October and Friday 6 November.
