The story
Das Goldstein by Gollner's serves Austrian and seasonal cooking at Goldsteintal 50 in Wiesbaden, a historic house set deep in the forest outside the city. The 2026 Michelin Guide lists it as Recommended.
The kitchen buys fresh ingredients from regional and international producers and reworks familiar dishes with close attention to detail. Owner Günter Gollner started his career as a waiter in Tyrol at fifteen, and his Austrian roots still shape the menu. The restaurant is also listed for vegetarian and vegan guests, and it carries a farm-to-table label.
The wine list draws on top international and regional growers, alongside Gollner's own bottlings. The Schlemmer Atlas awards the house 2.5 Kochlöffel for 2026 and praises a building that has been modernized down to the smallest detail. Food and drink have been served on this site for about 100 years. Guests can sit outside in good weather, and a private room is available for events.
