The story
Showroom sits at Lilienstraße 6 in Munich, a World Cuisine kitchen that earned one Michelin star in 2026 for high quality cooking. The evening is built around a multi-course menu that the kitchen changes every two weeks.
Dominik Käppeler leads the kitchen as chef and owner. Benjamin Retif runs the garde manger, Thomas Kloiber leads pastry, and Samir Nihad Jamal works the tournant station. The house says it does not repeat dishes between menus. Guests choose a six-course menu at 189 euros or a seven-course menu at 200 euros.
Wine pairing adds 90 euros to the six-course menu and 105 euros to the seven-course menu. Sommelier Martin Pechlof selects the modern wine list. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded the restaurant 3.5 Kochlöffel for 2026, noting that the head chef asks what guests dislike or cannot eat, and the rest arrives as a surprise.
