The story
Nymphenburger Hof at Nymphenburger Straße 24 in Munich is a classic French and Mediterranean kitchen, listed as a Michelin Guide recommendation in 2026. The restaurant also has a garden terrace.
The kitchen combines alpine and Mediterranean cooking, and the lunch card shows how. A recent version offered Steirischer Bauernsalat with egg and bacon, Wiener Tafelspitz with horseradish, and a wild mushroom risotto with parmesan and spinach. There was also a paillard de veau with tagliatelle and Pernod. The team buys fresh regional produce daily, so dishes can change at short notice.
The Schlemmer Atlas awarded 2,5 Kochlöffel in 2026 and describes a long-established restaurant with charm. Its favorite dishes are the mushroom goulash and the roasted duck. A four-course monthly menu sits alongside the lunch menu and the gourmet menu.
Guests can sit in the cozy interior or out in the garden, which the Schlemmer Atlas calls idyllic. The outdoor seating suits a long lunch on a dry day.
