The story
Restaurant Mausefalle at Hauptstr. 42 in Neroth, listed under Mülheim, pairs home cooking with a fusion approach and holds 2 Kochlöffel from the Schlemmer Atlas for 2026.
Timber framing and rubble stone from the 16th century give the dining rooms their character, and the restaurant sits in the old town. The Schlemmer Atlas describes the cooking as refined yet down-to-earth. Many of the ingredients are grown on site, which keeps the kitchen close to its own soil.
Hikers, bikers and families have long made this a regular stop. The Schlemmer Atlas also lists a beer garden, a playground and a play meadow, plus covered storage and overnight rooms for guests who stay on. Dogs are welcome, and the house offers wheelchair access and Wi-Fi.
