The story
Landhaus Hadrys, at An der Halberstädter Chaussee 1 in Magdeburg, serves seasonal country cooking with classic German and French roots. The restaurant earned a Michelin Recommended mention in 2026 and 2.5 Kochlöffel from the Schlemmer Atlas.
The kitchen cooks to the season, drawing on classic German and French technique. Menus run from three to six courses, priced between 65 and 95 euros per person. The printed menus come in blue, red and green versions, each with its own sequence of courses.
Beef tenderloin arrives with spinach, Café de Paris butter and pommes. Zander is served with spinach, mustard foam and fried potatoes. Calf's liver with potato, carrot, celery and apple appears on the à la carte, while the red menu offers roe deer saddle with red cabbage and cranberry. The Schlemmer Atlas describes the meal as up to six courses in sequence, from cod cream soup to nougat cake. Vegan dishes are available on request.
The restaurant sits in a country house on the edge of Magdeburg, with outdoor seating and parking. The wine list covers German, French, Italian and overseas bottles, and staff will help match a glass or a bottle to your menu. Guests who prefer not to drink can order a non-alcoholic prosecco selection developed with the Jörg Geiger Manufaktur in Göppingen.
