The story
Königshafen, at Alte Dorfstraße 1 in List on Sylt, serves North German food in a house the Hansen family has run since 1881. The Schlemmer Atlas gave it 2 Kochlöffel in 2026.
Königshafen calls itself the oldest family-run restaurant on Sylt, and the fifth generation has been in charge since 2011. The traditional Gaststube is one of four rooms. The Michelin Guide lists it as Recommended for 2026.
The country cooking leans on turbot, halibut and Wiener schnitzel, which the Schlemmer Atlas takes as proof of a capable kitchen team. Outside, the garden terrace is ringed with hydrangeas and has a small playground for children.
