The story
Osteria Malandra is an Italian restaurant at An der Torfbahn 1 in Ismaning, just north of Munich, and Gambero Rosso awarded it one fork in 2025.
Every noodle is made by hand in the kitchen, a practice that few restaurants still keep. The menu includes Lasagne "nonna Virginia" with veal ragout, buffalo mozzarella and tomato sugo. Filetto al Barolo, Argentine beef in a rosemary Barolo sauce, shows the grill side of the kitchen.
The Schlemmer Atlas gives Osteria Malandra two Kochlöffel for 2026, praising its homemade dishes, four-course menus and large grappa selection. A meat or fish tasting menu is priced at €58 per person, and a pasta menu at €65, with a matching wine served alongside each course. The dining room seats up to 70 guests, and the hall upstairs hosts events for up to 300.
