The story
Restaurant Leugermann in Ibbenbüren serves regional German cooking at Osnabrücker Str. 33, inside the family-run Hotel Leugermann, which has been run by the family since 1924. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded the restaurant 2 Kochlöffel in 2026 for hearty home-style cooking and multi-course menus for booked events.
The kitchen builds its group menus around the calendar. Groups of 6 to 30 guests choose a three- or four-course menu with one shared starter and one shared dessert. Parties of 10 or more pick their main courses in advance.
The soup is often Westfälische Kraftbrühe, the regional broth. Mains lean on Rinderroulade "Hausfrauen Art" and Zanderfilet, and autumn and winter bring venison steak and wild roast. Dessert is usually Crème Brûlée or a house-made parfait.
Guests dine in a cozy Gaststätte room or in the more formal restaurant rooms, and there is a Wintergarten and a terrace for afternoons. The Festsaal hosts family celebrations, company parties and weddings.
