The story
Wieland-Stuben in Hamm, Germany, serves classic French cooking at Wielandstraße 84, and the Michelin Guide listed it as Recommended in 2026. The restaurant has operated since 1965, and its French kitchen has settled into a long, steady rhythm.
Lukas Erfurth is both owner and head chef, working with his kitchen team on a base of high-quality fresh produce. The cooking leans classic French with a Mediterranean lightness. Hearty home-style dishes also appear on the card, reinterpreted with fresh ingredients.
The Sunday menu is a three-course meal priced at 50 euros, served at midday and in the evening. The late-March menus offered a vitello tonnato style starter with Ibérico pork loin, and a pike-perch with risotto, spinach, pine nuts and parmesan. A beef fillet with pointed cabbage, celeriac and pommes croquettes was the alternative main. Dessert is a surprise course.
Three dining rooms and a romantic courtyard terrace give the restaurant its character, and the tradition behind them is evident in the rooms. Ronja Erfurth, restaurant manager and sommelier, leads the service team. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded the restaurant three Kochlöffel in 2026, noting that up to six courses are available. Private dining is also available for larger groups.
