The story
Salt & Silver, at Hafenstraße 136 in Hamburg, serves a Fusion kitchen that the Michelin Guide recommended in 2026. The menu blends Mediterranean and world cuisine influences, and the restaurant sits in the 20359 postcode area.
Guests can choose a chef's choice menu or order from the à la carte. The dishes take cues from Peruvian and Asian cooking. The Schlemmer Atlas names two specific plates: a whole turbot served with chipotle beurre blanc, and a spicy wild boar salsiccia. Both show how the kitchen pairs Latin American heat with richer, butter-based sauces.
The two founders, Cozy and Jo, left their jobs in 2014 to travel, surf and cook. That journey shaped their cookbooks and documentaries. Salt & Silver Hamburg is one of three restaurants in the group, alongside locations in Hamburg and Sankt Peter-Ording. The house describes its approach as creative cooking built on regional ingredients.
