The story
HYGGE Brasserie & Bar in Hamburg runs a seasonal kitchen at Baron-Voght-Straße 179, and Michelin has recognised its good quality, good value cooking with a Bib Gourmand for 2026. The brasserie sits inside the Hotel Landhaus Flottbek, in the former polo stables of a farmstead on the western side of the city.
The kitchen uses regional, high quality ingredients, and the team knows its suppliers personally. Every meal can be ordered family-style, so the whole table shares what arrives. Some of the vegetables and herbs are grown on the estate, where about 1,500 m² of glasshouse sits within 2,000 m² of farmland.
Leather sofas, an open fire and 200-year-old ceiling beams shape the room. The bar pours a sparkling HYGGE Spritz and a Moscow Mule made with homemade ginger beer, alongside classic long drinks and cocktails. The Schlemmer Atlas awards the brasserie 3 Kochlöffel for 2026.
