The story
Clouds - Heaven's Bar & Kitchen sits in the Dancing Towers at Reeperbahn 1 in Hamburg, serving a Fusion and International menu with a focus on grilled dishes. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 1.5 Kochlöffel in 2026. The main restaurant is currently paused while insurance-related repairs are carried out, but private dining continues on the 22nd floor, one floor below the restaurant.
The Schlemmer Atlas singles out the grilled dishes as the reason to come. The private menu gives a clear picture of the kitchen: a 200g sliced beef fillet, Black Tiger prawns at two per person, and a pepper cream sauce alongside a red wine jus. Starters lean toward cured and fresh flavours, such as smoked country ham with olives and burrata with cherry tomatoes and mandarin-infused olive oil.
The private dining offer is a three-course menu with a drinks package for EUR 165. The package covers an aperitif, soft and hot drinks, beer and wine, and is valid for up to 3.5 hours. It is available for groups of 15 or more, and bookings go through events@clouds-hamburg.de. A vegan three-course menu is available on request, with grilled artichoke hearts, creamy forest mushroom risotto and a sorbet selection. Desserts include chocolate cake with a molten centre and panna cotta with blackberries and cinnamon.
The Dancing Towers were designed by Hadi Teherani and completed in 2013. The restaurant occupies the upper floors of the south tower, at 98 to 107 metres above Elbe level, and the Schlemmer Atlas describes it as the city's highest restaurant. The Michelin Guide lists it as Recommended for 2026.
