The story
arc is a regional fine dining restaurant at Eppendorfer Weg 58 in Hamburg, Germany, with a Nordic-leaning seasonal kitchen. Der Feinschmecker gave it 3.5 in 2026, and Schlemmer Atlas awarded it three Kochlöffel the same year.
Joshua Feldkircher and Julian Rickert cook the menu together. Feldkircher trained at Haerlin in Hamburg, and Rickert cooked at Mühle Schluchsee and at Coda in Berlin. The menu is mostly pescetarian, with fish used sparingly, and a vegetarian version is available. The first snack is a small yellow beet tartlet with thin slices of smoked eel, a sour yeast cream, a fermented cherry and a ponzu jelly made from eel trimmings.
The dining room is plain, with a sturdy wine glass for the whole evening and no cutlery, only two wooden spoons carved by a British designer. Each supplier is recorded in the Freundebuch, a book describing their stories and methods. Every product on the menu carries a number that points back to its entry, so guests can trace what they eat to the people who grew or made it.
