The story
Bio-Restaurant Land.Luft Leberfing is a Bavarian kitchen in Eichendorf, based at Leberfing 1, 94439, Roßbach (Niederbayern). The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 1,5 Kochlöffel in 2026, and the restaurant describes itself as the only organic restaurant in the region.
The kitchen works with meat from the Land.Luft farm, where the owners say their animals live well from the first day to the last. The spring menu lists Beef Tartar, Rinderfilet-Carpaccio and Bergkäse-Ecken baked with mountain cheese. Asparagus has its own card, with dishes such as Spargel LEBERFING with fried liver and Spargel GOURMET with beef fillet. Heavier plates include the Leberfinger Gegrilltes and a schnitzel made from Leberfing free-range pork. Organic chef Kevin also appears in the event calendar, where he pairs a butchery workshop with the restaurant's own dishes.
The main dining room is a vaulted hall in the Bohemian style. In warmer months guests can eat in the courtyard beside the farm, and the Hofgarten hosts summer events such as a smoker buffet and a live music evening. Sunday brings a roast pork with dumplings and sauerkraut, while Thursdays feature a monthly changing three-course menu. For dessert, the list includes Marina's Crème Brûlée and a Panna Cotta.
