The story
Steg 32 sits directly on the lakeside promenade at Summerstr. 32 in Herrsching am Ammersee, a Mediterranean kitchen recognized with 2,5 Kochlöffel in the Schlemmer Atlas 2026. The restaurant has a lounge and a terrace facing the water.
The kitchen cooks regional and international dishes with seasonal, market-fresh ingredients. Fish and game take center stage on the menu. Guests can order à la carte or choose a full-board Verwöhnpension, since the restaurant belongs to the Ammersee Hotel.
Every Tuesday evening the grill fires up for scampi, served with house focaccia, bruschetta, aioli and tomato dip. On Sundays a jazz brunch with the Ekstra Quartett accompanies the buffet. The Winzer Lounge is a private separée for up to 14 guests, used for celebrations, wine tastings and multi-course menus.
