The story
SCHORN by Lukas Schild, at Martinstraße 46a in Düsseldorf's Bilk district, earned three Kochlöffel in the 2026 Schlemmer Atlas for its classic French kitchen. The restaurant serves French and international cooking, with a set lunch menu and an interesting wine list.
Lukas Schild cooks the menu himself, blending French technique with international influences. The kitchen works with classic foundations, such as a velouté with ravioli of Oosterschelder lobster and a beef tea finished with Imperial caviar. The Michelin Guide lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026.
The à la carte includes Hechtspätzle with crayfish and veal sweetbread, Skrei with potato foam and winter truffle, and a cabbage roulade of Alsatian pigeon with foie gras. Beef bourguignon is made with Eifel Wagyu. Desserts include Vacherin Mont d'Or with house-made fruit bread and a passion fruit parfait with shiso ice cream. Main courses run from 42 to 48 euros, and the tasting menus range from four to seven courses, priced from 99 to 158 euros.
The room is relaxed and welcoming, and the restaurant also offers outdoor seating on the terrace. A Sunday menu is served at lunchtime. On the third Thursday of each month, the chef cooks an omakase evening with a four-course menu and wine pairing for 99 euros. The restaurant also hosts literary dinners with three-course menus.
