The story
Brasserie Stadthaus sits at Mühlenstraße 31 in Düsseldorf, where a classic French kitchen has earned a Michelin Recommended listing for 2026. The restaurant pairs a French brasserie menu with a bar, a seasonal card and a terrace.
The menu changes with the seasons and blends classic French dishes with modern, creatively interpreted plates. Escargots come with herb butter and Pastis, and the steak frites uses entrecôte dry aged for six weeks. Sole Colbert with Colbert butter and a lobster bisque show the kitchen's range from fish to shellfish.
Schlemmer Atlas awards the room two Kochlöffel for 2026. Long benches upholstered in red fabric run along the walls, with white tablecloths, a coffered ceiling and chandeliers. In warmer months, guests can also eat on the sunny terrace.
