The story
Feine Kost, at Wallgäßchen 4 in Dresden, is a contemporary kitchen run by Mario Pattis, and the Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2.5 Kochlöffel in 2026. The address combines an evening restaurant, a lunch bistro and a delicatessen in the city's Barockviertel.
The menu rotates daily and relies on regional, seasonal ingredients. The kitchen aims for produce that tastes as good as it looks on the plate. The Schlemmer Atlas describes a refined three-course menu, product tastings and aperitifs served in the kitchen itself. Michelin lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026.
Weekday lunch runs until 15:30, and the deli sells handmade open sandwiches on natural sourdough with changing seasonal toppings. Guests can take food home or pre-order products and collect them at an agreed time. The drinks range includes a small selection of wine and sparkling wine, non-alcoholic options, and coffee and tea specialities.
Feine Kost offers a private room and outdoor seating, and both can be booked for events and celebrations. The weekly programme shifts from one day to the next, with a Monday non-alcoholic lunch, a Tuesday brunch paired with Champagne, a Thursday after-work aperitif with a DJ, and a Friday afternoon of port and octopus. Product presentations are announced as they are scheduled.
