The story
Brasserie Ehrlich in Dresden is a French-inspired brasserie at Wiesenweg 1 in Wurgwitz, Freital, and carries a 2026 Michelin Recommended distinction. The kitchen cooks a seasonal menu in a rural setting just outside the city.
The brasserie works with set menus that change with the season. A three-course menu costs 65 euros per person, a four-course 83 and a five-course 97, with wine pairings added from 28 to 49 euros. The full menus run Thursday to Saturday, while Sunday brings a midday Schmaus at 59 or 69 euros.
The card has included a creamy goat cheese mousse with beetroot and port-wine shallots, and a velvet swede soup with bacon and mushroom gröstel. Mains have featured breast of Kikok chicken with root vegetables and venison from the Erzgebirge with blackcurrants and celeriac cream. The meal ends with a chocolate fondant with a liquid centre, served with red wine butter ice cream.
The main room is wood-panelled and lit by candles, with 20 seats inside and a terrace of 12 when the weather allows. The Stübli, a rustic side room with its own ground-level exit, seats 12 for private groups, and the restaurant can stretch to 25 for celebrations. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2.5 Kochlöffel for 2026, and the house pairs its menus with a wine journey.
