Wailtl Bräu, at Marienplatz 2 in Dorfen, is a traditional Bavarian inn that received 2 Kochlöffel from the Schlemmer Atlas in 2026.
The Schlemmer Atlas calls it a very cozy inn with hearty Bavarian cooking, meat grilled over an open fire and a good range of salad variations. Andrea and Sebastian Kuklau run the house. Daily specials are posted on its social pages, and a set lunch menu is available.
Ritteressen, the inn's knight's feasts, are held regularly and have their own place among the events on the restaurant's site. The house asks guests to reserve in good time, and dishes can also be ordered by phone to take away.
