The story
Lenis Wine & Dine in Dingolfing, at Marienplatz 25, combines an international kitchen with a wine shop under one roof, and it holds 3 Kochlöffel in the Schlemmer Atlas 2026.
The restaurant serves two menus built on premium ingredients, and one of them is vegetarian. Brick vaults and rustic wooden furniture give the room its character, with warm light that keeps the space relaxed. The midday set menu runs Wednesday to Saturday and includes dishes such as Backhendl with parsley potatoes and Saiblingsfilet with Beluga lentils.
The evening menu leans into classic technique with modern plating. Zwiebelrostbraten arrives with Sauerrahm spätzle and jus, while Wolfsbarschfilet is served with a harissa foam. Dessert brings Cookies & Cream with sour cherry and toffee. The international menu also offers a burrata with apricot and tomato.
The wine shop carries an international selection of 300 labels, and sommelier Jochen Benz leads tastings and wine events. Guests can also sit at the long table in the vault, which seats up to 16. For private celebrations, the room accommodates up to 40.
