The story
Gasthaus Ödenturm, at Am Ödenturm 11 in Cham, serves country cooking with a Mediterranean streak. Michelin awarded it a Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good quality, good value cooking.
The kitchen has made its name with fine game and fish. The menu also lists homemade pasta, soups and salads. Seasonal produce sets the rhythm: asparagus, mushrooms, roots and turnips. One guest mentions dishes arriving on wooden boards. The Schlemmer Atlas gave the house 2,5 Kochlöffel in 2026.
The restaurant stands just outside town, at a castle ruin at the foot of the Lamberg. Regulars like the terrace for its view. The Marienmünster is a 10-minute walk away. On selected Saturdays in 2026, the house also hosts a wine tasting menu.
