The story
Nobel Moordeich is a family-run home cooking restaurant at Neuer Weg 13, 28816 Stuhr, near Bremen, Germany. The Schlemmer Atlas gave it 1,5 Kochlöffel in 2026, and the kitchen rotates its lunch dishes and seasonal specialties throughout the year.
The restaurant has operated since 1869 and still describes itself as hospitality across generations. Alongside the dining room there is a hotel that is open around the clock, and the building hosts weddings and private celebrations. Guests who have held receptions here often mention the attentive staff and how quickly drinks and courses reached the table.
The kitchen changes its focus each month and posts a daily board. Guests can also choose from a weekly menu card, a short à la carte selection and a children's menu. The Schlemmer Atlas singled out the quick three-course lunch. One wedding guest still talks about the roast suckling pig served at a 2019 celebration, and reviewers praise the willingness to serve parsnips and beetroot, ingredients they rarely see on other menus.
Every Thursday evening of the month, the house hosts a Stammtisch, and visitors who are not regulars are welcome to join. Breakfast and brunch are available on pre-order and have become increasingly popular. The full drinks list is published on the restaurant's website.
