The story
Restaurant Große-Wilde at Gladbecker Str. 207 in Bottrop cooks a fusion and Mediterranean menu in a building that opened as a miners' pub in 1900. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 1.5 Kochlöffel in 2026.
The kitchen follows a natural cooking philosophy and buys only fresh raw ingredients of high quality. The seasonal à la carte changes with what is available, and selected menus are offered alongside it. The chef has Michelin-star experience, and the cooking focuses on careful preparation with a light touch in composition and plating.
The restaurant is run by Tina Große-Wilde and her husband Carlos Rempert, now in the fourth generation. Banquet rooms seat up to 80 guests, either alone or combined with the restaurant. Two bowling lanes make the house suitable for relaxed evenings with a group.
