The story
Remi is a seasonal Mediterranean restaurant at Torstraße 48 in Berlin, set inside the Suhrkamp Haus. Michelin awarded it a Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good quality, good value cooking.
The dining room is predominantly white, so the color comes from the food. The Schlemmer Atlas, which gave Remi 2 Kochlöffel in 2026, singles out wild mushroom tartlets and buffalo ricotta gnudi (potato dumplings). Beef tartare gets the same mention. The kitchen's modern cuisine draws on Mediterranean ideas and a wider world repertoire.
The team says it works to the rhythm of nature, so both the lunch and dinner menus can change at short notice. Saturdays and public holidays have a special lunch offer. Walk-ins are welcome, and the room also hosts group meals at midday or in the evening.
