The story
Lucky Leek, at Kollwitzstraße 54 in Berlin, is a plant-based restaurant with a World Cuisine menu, and it holds a 2026 Michelin Bib Gourmand for good quality, good value cooking. The kitchen cooks entirely without animal products, with seasonal menus that change over the year.
Josita Hartanto is the owner and head chef. The Schlemmer Atlas describes the restaurant as small and Asian-inspired, with a 100 percent plant-based menu and two Kochlöffel for 2026. Diners can order à la carte or choose the seven-course menu.
The chef's menu moves through a celeriac tatar with apple and feta cream, a Spanish tortilla made with manioc and mojo rojo, and smoked chili tempeh served with onion polenta. Dessert is a miso chocolate mousse with matcha, sesame and plum ice cream. Menus run from three to seven courses, priced between 48 and 107 euros.
Wine pairings can be added to any menu length, from 25 euros for three courses to 64 euros for seven. The room is relaxed but refined, suited to a special occasion or a spontaneous dinner. Outdoor seating is also available.
