The story
Brasserie Lamazère at Stuttgarter Platz 18 in Berlin is a French brasserie that earned a 2026 Michelin Recommended distinction. The restaurant works in the bistronomy style, with a menu written fresh each day on chalkboards and a wine list drawn from France's growing regions.
The kitchen is led by chef de cuisine Michael Paesler, with Hakon Adelsteinsson and Simon Morlet also named behind the stove. The team reworks French classics, and the menu changes often. Each day offers four starters, four main courses and three desserts, or a cheese plate with up to 15 French varieties.
Schlemmer Atlas awarded the restaurant two Kochlöffel for 2026 and names œufs cocotte, beef tartare and pan-fried sea bass among its house highlights. The restaurant's own updates have featured grilled veal tongue with pointed cabbage and loup de mer, which the kitchen buys fresh. Takeout is available, including French wines and the house terrine.
Schlemmer Atlas describes a cozy room with a rustic feel, opposite Charlottenburg station. Staff suggest bottles to match each dish, and the bar stays open until two in the morning. The space can also host private events for up to 50 guests.
