The story
Golfhaus Restaurant im Kurpark is a French and Mediterranean restaurant at Kaiser-Friedrich-Promenade 84a in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Germany. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2 Kochlöffel in 2026, and the house sits among the greenery of the spa park.
The menu draws on French, Mediterranean and international cooking, with seasonal offers that change through the year. Seafood and Italian-leaning dishes anchor the starters, from Meeresfrüchte a la Cioppino to Vitello Tonnato. Pasta and risotto often carry chanterelles or prawns.
Baby calamari a la puttanesca, gambas in a spicy tomato sauce and a caprese with burrata sit alongside the pasta. The mains include a Wiener Schnitzel of veal loin, served with fried potatoes, lemon and cranberries. Desserts stay short: Creme brûlée and mousse au chocolat.
In summer, the terrace looks out over the oldest golf course in Germany, a six-hole layout. In winter, the room offers a more formal setting. The wine list focuses on southern France, Germany, Italy and Spain. On selected Sundays, a brunch costs 39.50 € per person and includes a glass of rosé crémant.
