The story
LAMM sits at Mönchstraße 31 in Bad Herrenalb, in the Rotensol district of the Northern Black Forest. The hotel restaurant runs a Baden-Swabian kitchen and earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good quality, good value cooking.
The kitchen cooks fine, down-to-earth dishes rooted in Baden-Swabian tradition. Guests can choose a four-course menu or order from the à la carte card. The Schlemmer Atlas awards it 2.5 Kochlöffel for this approach.
Of the 30 individually furnished hotel rooms, the Comfort Rooms follow the classic Black Forest style, with partly antique furnishings and lovingly restored pieces. Several rooms look out over the meadows and forests of the Northern Black Forest. Downstairs, the rustic vaulted cellar holds more than 500 wines from across Europe, so the country cooking and the wine list are easy to pair.
