The story
Berghofstüble, at Berghofstüble 2A in Bad Bellingen, is a Badische and seasonal restaurant with a 2026 Michelin recommendation. The kitchen combines regional produce with Mediterranean influences, and the terrace looks out over the Rhine toward Alsace and the Vosges.
The restaurant describes its cooking as traditional, refined craftsmanship shaped by the Mediterranean heritage of its Italian ancestry. A chalkboard slate offers dishes beyond the printed card each day, so the menu shifts with what is available. The printed menu also lists a tasting-style selection that is available only on request.
Starters include burrata with melon and nuts at 21 €, and a scallop dish with pumpkin and curry at 25 €. Mains range from venison goulash with mushrooms and dumplings at 32 € to sea bass with fennel and saffron at 43 €. Desserts include crème brûlée at 8 € and chocolate mousse at 13 €.
Guests can enjoy a meal or a glass of wine with a view over Bad Bellingen and across the Rhine to Alsace and the Vosges. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded the restaurant two Kochlöffel in 2026, and the guide notes that a half-hour walk from the spa park brings diners here through fresh air.
