The story
Poidl² - Kulinarik am Dorfbach in Amerang runs a Mediterranean kitchen at Frabertshamer Str. 1, 83123 Amerang, and earned 2.5 Kochlöffel in the Schlemmer Atlas 2026. The restaurant sits beside the village stream and combines a coffee counter, a midday table, evening menus and a delicatessen under one roof.
The kitchen works with regional and seasonal ingredients and adds international influences. The evening menu has included scallop with radish and dill, and Poidl's signature ravioli with herb beurre blanc. A vegetarian menu runs alongside it, and Thursdays bring a tapas evening.
The delicatessen counter offers house-made products, cheese and sausage specialities, and cakes baked in-house. Coffee is served with fresh milk, and the drinks list includes Camba beers from Seeon alongside a wine cellar.
