The story
Vivace is a seafood bistro at Place de Crec'h-Héry in Trébeurden, France, and it earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good quality, good value cooking.
The kitchen cooks with local and seasonal ingredients, and the menu leans on vegetables and seafood. Le Fooding's 2026 listing describes a lunch of fresh tomatoes and blackberries with Catalan romesco and creamed corn, finished with a punchy salsa verde. The herbs in that salsa, Bolivian cilantro and Mexican oregano, were grown a few miles away. Roasted skate comes with potatoes, chard, celery purée, a shiso-infused beurre blanc and hazelnut praline.
The dining room has light wood and green details, plus a shelf of feminist books. Dinner brings a heavier set of plates, such as line-caught sea bream ceviche with fennel, dill and tiger's milk, or octopus with tangy beets and seaweed tartare. Dessert can be a financier with walnuts, honey and goat cheese from Pors Mabo, served like a cheesecake, with sorbet made from gwell, a Breton fermented milk.
