The story
Aux Pesked, at 59 rue du Légué in Saint-Brieuc, is a modern seafood kitchen that holds one Michelin star (2026). The name means "fish" in Breton, and the menus follow the catch from the bay.
The kitchen works mainly with shellfish and fish from the Saint-Brieuc bay. Langoustines are seared just before service and served with white asparagus and a citrus sabayon. A raviole of spider crab comes with a shellfish jus, and line-caught bluefin tuna is partly cooked and paired with buckwheat and beetroot.
The lemon dessert is the house signature. The restaurant also runs a lobster menu, served as a whole Breton lobster across three courses.
The dining room is decorated with a personal touch and feels relaxed rather than formal. A private salon hosts family or business events, and a panoramic terrace overlooks the Gouët valley. A garden of aromatic herbs supplies some of the kitchen's flavors.
Guests can reach the restaurant by bus or bike, and the private car park has electric charging points. The room is wheelchair accessible.
Aux Pesked cooks locavore, with vegetables grown close to the city and an eco-responsible approach. The restaurant holds two Écotable macarons and earned one radish in the Smart Green Guide (2026). Vegetarian menus are available if the kitchen is told at booking, and children's menus are offered up to age 10.
